From Bingle Camp (run by Yukon Presbytery, in Fairbanks):
Want a break from hanging out at the house with family? Can’t have that family vacation you had planned on? Too much screen time lately? Consider a weekend at Bingle Camp with your family (whoever is in your “bubble”). Bingle Camp is offering five weekends for your family to come out and enjoy the blessings of camp – waterfront, canoes, chapel, arts and crafts, nature walks around camp including the Outback, bicycling on the roads around Harding Lake, campfires, fishing, games, and spending time (socially distanced, of course) with other families.
Kitchen facilities will be provided for each family to cook their own meals or meals can be cooked by the campfire. Each family will have their own cabin and their own bathroom space. Waterfront activities will not have a lifeguard, so know your abilities and swim at your risk, but we do have canoes for getting out on the water. We have lots of space for outdoor games. Camp would not be camp without campfires so we can have outdoor singing. We can accommodate up to four families each weekend. There is no cost, but a donation would be appreciated. We are offering this wonderful opportunity all weekends in July (including Fourth of July weekend) with the last one going through August 2.
Consider connecting with your family and God for a weekend at Bingle Camp this summer.
